DDLS Project Management Training Courses have been delivered by experienced Project Managers for the IT industry at DDLS since 1999.

If you have limited time and resources to achieve a particular goal then you need project management skills, particularly if more than one person is involved. Project management training with DDLS delivers the skills that the market demands. All our curriculum is built around the project management body of knowledge (PMBOK). Related to project management DDLS also offers Business Analyst training.

Consisting of 5 days comprehensive workshop, it emphasizes the successful planning and initiation phases of the project management discipline. In addition to providing technique-based competencies, the Practitioner Program teaches students the "softer" skills as well, such as negotiation techniques, getting management buy-in and effectively working with others.

Days 1 to 3
Participants learn state-of-the-art techniques for developing comprehensive project plans, getting management buy-in, and estimating and scheduling project tasks with accuracy and sophistication. They build work break-down structures and skilfully apply limited resources to their project plans. In addition, they rehearse dynamic modelling to handle surprise variables.

Days 4 and 5
Participants examine how to serve as a successful bridge between a project team, customers, and sponsors. Participants learn techniques for making difficult requests and influencing people outside their scope of power. They will also learn how to use a negotiating and contracting model to guarantee common understanding of a project as well as ownership of a final deal.
